Fake number plates arrest for rally driver

A British rally driver has been arrested for using fake number plates to escape motoring convictions. Nicholas Morley, 29, from Bowden, Cheshire, crashed his Porsche into another car on 4th May during the Gumball rally, killing its two elderly occupants.
Morley is also being investigated for perverting the course of justice. He was arrested and released on police bail, but failed to answer his bail due to the date coinciding with his Macedonian trial.
The annual 3,000-mile Gumball rally takes place from London to Istanbul and back, but was cancelled following the fatal crash. Morley was convicted of "endangering traffic, leading to death" by a court in Struga, Macedonia. Morley was given a two-year suspended sentence for the deaths of Vladimir Chepunjoski and his wife Margarita.
