Bruce Lee number plate sells in Hong Kong

A Bruce Lee fan in Hong Kong has splashed out HK$40,000 on a set of number plates bearing the martial arts film star's name.
The number plate, reading 'BRUCELEE' was sold at an auction by the Hong Kong transport department. The winning bidder said he would have paid up to HK$1million for the plate.
The number plate's new owner also said he would speak to Lee's widow before deciding what to do with the plate.
"Bruce Lee was great and he contributed a lot to China. he has influenced people from a few generations and his influence can still be felt today."
Lee, who is best known for his roles in Fist of Fury, Way of the Dragon and Enter the Dragon, amongst others, died in 1973 aged just 32.
The number plate was sold amongst others at an auction on Saturday, but the results of the auction haven't yet been made available by the Hong Kong transport department.
