DVLA number plates auction report (July 2007)

The recent DVLA number plates auction at the Haycock Hotel in Wansford, Cambridgeshire attracted a great deal of attention with some excellent prices achieved for desirable plates.

Day One, Wednesday 4th July, saw 1 CCF sell at £10,200, 1 FDP at £11,200, and DEB 111E at £11,600. 4 ADY and 88 C also went under the hammer at £14,000 and £15,400 respectively.

Day Two saw a flurry of activity as JAM 1Y, 1 KGT and 77 MH all sold for £10,100 each, whilst 1 KET went for £10,200 and 64 M and 1 LPW went for £10,400 a piece. 1 NFG and 1 LBE sold at £12,000 each. 110 LLY reached £16,200, but the highest price of the day (and of the auction) was £21,600 for G30 RGE.

Day Three, Friday 6th July, saw 9 YD sell at £10,300, 63 S at £10,700, and 2 SLY at £11,000. 1 TBC made £12,800, and 1 PFA and 1 PRN achieved £13,400 and £13,600 respectively. 1 TCJ sold for £14,800 and 1 SFA went under the hammer at £16,500.
