Vinnie Takes his Love of Number Plates Across the Pond!

On 4th May, the Daily Mail published pictures of actor and former football star Vinnie Jones as he sat at the wheel of his 4x4. His wife, Tanya, in her convertible Jaguar, closely followed Vinnie, who was driving his Range Rover in Hollywood. The photos showed that Vinnie's plates read "UK VIN", while Tanya's read "UK TAN".

Vinnie gave an exclusive interview to top number plates magazine The World of Personal Number Plates in 2007. He said then that he was a fan of private registrations.

"I just think they're brilliant," he told the magazine's interviewer. "A good plate is the business. If I see something like a new Bentley with bog standard plates, I just think it's wrong. A good car needs a good number."

So, nice as the Mail's pictures are, Vinnie and Tanya’s enjoyment of good quality private plates is not news to us. In fact, as we well know, the whole family are long-standing enthusiasts, including Vinnie's son and daughter – and even his mum!
