'58' Number Plates On The Roads

Today is an important day for potential car buyers, as over 2.5 million brand new '58' registrations are released and ready to roll off the courtyards. Research shows that around half of motorists purchasing a new vehicle will pay up to 14% more by choosing the wrong finance deal.

There is a massive demand for these number plates even during the credit crunch, and it is estimated that around 100,000 of these new style plates will be sold in the final months of 2008, adding to the 120,000 '08' registrations released earlier this year.

On average, motorists will be paying around £1,400 more for their vehicle by not shopping around for the best finance package, showing just how keen they are to be the proud owner of one of these brand new number plates.
