One Ball Rally Still Raising Funds
Regular visitors to Numberplates.com and Regtransfers.co.uk, recipients of our newsletters, may recall our involvement with Dave Cook and his charity One Ball Rally. Follow the link for our earlier story on the rally.
Dave had treatment for testicular and stomach cancer. We are happy to say that his treatment went well, and consequently he decided that he would like to give something back to the oncology departments who took such fine care of him. Dave came up with the idea of the One Ball Rally: a sponsored charity driving trip through Europe in an old black cab. We were delighted to donate a private number plate, X60 NAD, ("ex-gonad"!) for display on the rally vehicle.
Dave and his companions successfully completed their journey, and are now back in the UK. Unfortunately, the vehicle they eventually secured for the rally was too old to be allowed to display X60 NAD so the number is being raffled off to raise money for the cause instead. It isn't too late to contribute, so please consider visiting Dave's One Ball Blog.
