DVLA Auction Brochure - 1st September 1997
Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 1st of September 1997. The auction was held at The Civic Centre in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
1 PJF sold at £10,000 after having an estimate of £3,900, and JOS 11 sold for £10,100 (reserve £2,600). 1 KEB sold at £10,300 (reserve £3,900) and 1 PBC went for £10,500 (reserve £4,200).
2 PC and 1 KSD both sold for £11,000 - more than double their respective reserves of £5,500 and £4,000. Similarly, 1 MSG sold for £11,500 (reserve £3,600).
The two higest value plates were R1 GHT and 1 KSS, at £12,700 and £13,500 respectively. Their respective reserve prices were £3,800 and £4,300.
