Number Plate Auction - July 2002
Auction Brochures
Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 4th of July 2002. This auction was held at Chilford Hall, in Linton, near Cambridge.
The auction got off to a strong start with most lots exceeding their guide prices. A11 MED was an early surprise, surpassing its guide price of £3,200 with a grand total of £17,600. BOB 8Y did even better, with a final price of £19,000 eclipsing the guide price of £3,500.
Some o ther personalised plates to achieve high final prices were E111 OTT (£21,000 - guide price £2,300), and MAR 71N (£35,000 - guide price £3,500).
