Cover for the brochure of the number plates auction dated the 4th of September 1990. The auction was held at the Conference Centre in Harrogate, described in the brochure as "an elegant and cosmopolitan holiday resort and conference venue".

From the handwritten notes inside the brochure, bidding started slowly, with 500 RS missing its guide price of £4,000-£7,000 and selling for a paltry £2,500. 205 GT also failed to reach its £7,000 ceiling guide with a successful bid of £1,500.

1 VS, which had a guide price of "over £6,000", finally sold for £17,000, whilst A1 MUM, with a guide price of "over £3,000", went for £12,400.

The highest price reached at this auction was £35,000 for ROS 1E (guide price of "over £6,000", whilst KER 1E sold for £20,500 (guide "over £4,000"), AMR 1T commanded £19,500 (guide "over £4,000"), DEL 1A reached £21,000 (guide "over £5,000"), LOR 1E made £20,000 (guide "over £6,000"), and AVR 1L and D1 SHY sold for £29,000 and £20,000 respectively, with guide prices of "over £7,000" and "over £4,000").
