DVLA Auction Brochure - 5th April 2001

Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 5th of April 2001. The auction was held at Belvoir Castle near Grantham in Lincolnshire.

Some high-raisers at this auction included 1 YUK and VAS 2, which were both given reserve prices of £2,900 and eventually raised £10,000 and £10,400 respectively. Meanwhile, S1 REN, which was valued at just £2,500 went under the hammer at £11,500.

5 OO realised £13,000 - much higher than its reserve price of £4,000, and 7 ONY and W1 LKY, both with reserves of £3,000, made £14,100 and £17,500 respectively. 1 YW also raised £17,000 (reserve price £3,400).

However, the two most expensive number plates at this auction were S7 EVE and W1 LKO which sold for £35,000 and £45,000 respectively - smashing their £3,500 and £3,000 respective reserves.
