Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 5th, 6th, and 7th December 2006. The auction was held at Rudding Park in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

This auction contained a substantial number of three-letter number-one plates. 1 BOG, 1 CDR, 1 EBW, 1 EPR, 1GCW, 1HCJ, 1 OFT, 1 PCE, 1 RDN, 1 SDD, 1 TBR and 1 TJT all opened with reserves of £3,300.

Name number plates were naturally prominent, with some examples including F24 NCO (reserve £500), FRA 56R (reserve £450), ELV 15S (reserve £2,000), LWE 11S (reserve £500), and ROW 44N (reserve £600).
