Number Plate Auction - September 1994

DVLA Auction Brochure - 6th September 1994

Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 6th of September 1994. The auction was held at St David's Hall in The Hayes, Cardiff.

1 JDW sold at this auction for £10,000 (reserve £3,400), 2 MS fetched £10,100 (reserve £3,800) and M1 CRO achieved £10,250 (reserve £2,300). Similarly, 3 JM sold for £10,300 (reserve £3,600) and 1 JPS went for £10,500 (reserve £3,600).

Meanwhile, 1 RDW sold for £11,000 (reserve £3,500), 3 RB for £11,200 (reserve £3,600), M1 NTS for £13,000 (reserve £2,800) and M1 LLS for £13,400 (reserve £3,300).

L1 OYD realised £14,000 (reserve £3,700), 2 JC went under the hammer for £14,500 (reserve £3,600) and 77 JB went for £14,800 (reserve £3,400). Similarly, 1 MJW sold for £15,400 (reserve £3,300) and M1 LNE for £16,900 (£3,600).

The three highest selling plates at this auction were M1 NES, 1 MH and M1 LES which sold for £22,000, £27,500 and £35,000 respectively, with respective reserves of £3,100, £3,900 and £3,500.
