Number Plate Auction - July 2004
DVLA Auction Brochure - 7th July 2004
Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 7th of July 2004. The auction was held at Redworth Hall in County Durham.
Three-letter number-ones were very popular at this auction, with 1 JJY, LSX 1 and 1 MXM achieving starting reserve prices of £3,200. With slightly higher starting reserves, at £3,300, were 1 SCU, XRS 1 and XVV 1.
1 BFE, 1 KKW, 1 MVG, 1 OJM, 2 PPS, 1 PPR, 1 STS and 1 UBS all began with reserve prices of £3,400, whilst 1 CNA, 1 HGO, 1 JJV, 1 JJW, 1 LNJ, 1 MSN and 1 MVM were estimated to fetch £3,500.
However, the number plate with the highest reserve price was 1 JJG, with £3,600.
