Number Plate Auction - May 2003

Cover for the brochure of the Bonhams number plates auction dated the 14th of May 2003. This auction was held at Crewe Hall in Crewe, Cheshire.
There were a wide selection of high-value private number plates up for grabs at this auction, with 37 DB, 43 DC, 41 DD, 37 DH, 58 G, 26 J, 29 JC, 23 M, 73 MC, 38 N, 1 OBS, 49 P, 41 PM, 41 SB, and 48 S began with starting reserves of £3,200.
Estimates of £3,300 were applied to 1 APV, 1 LLR, 1 MJU, 1 MTP, 1 NBO, 1 NBT, 1 SBV, 1 SST and 1 STM. Slightly higher, with estimates of £3,400 were 1 LDP, 1 RRC and 1 TLM.
Although 1 RDF had a rather respectable reserve of £3,500, the highest expectations were placed on PRE 570N with an estimate of £4,900.
