Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 15th of April 1998. The auction was held at The Gateway Theatre in Chester.
There were no number plates of particular value at this auction, with 1 NJR and 1 RNJ valued at £4,500 alongside 1 THB at £4,600, 1 JCA at £4,700 and 1 SJG at £4,800. 51 L, meanwhile, was valued at £5,200.
J4 NET, SHA 1D and K3 LLY were given estimates of £5,500 and J4 CKY came in just under the £6,000 barrier at £5,900. ALL 150N and F4 RAH had estimates of £6,000, and M4 SON at £6,200. JDS 1 was valued at £6,600, but the most valuable number plate on offer was B15 HOP at £7,500.
