Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 17th of June 1996. The auction was held at The Corn Exchange in Cambridge.
1 PSG sold for £10,000 (reserve £4,100), 1 PHS went for £10,200 (reserve £4,200) and 50 PM went under the hammer at £10,700 (reserve £3,300). Meanwhile, P1 GGY and 7 M sold for £11,000 and £11,400 respectively, with reserves of £3,500 and £4,000.
1 NCB, which had a reserve of £4,300, sold for £13,000 and 1 SKG went for £14,600 (£4,200). 1 PCH and 9 H both went for £16,000 and had respective reserve prices of £4,300 and £5,200.
CHR 11S (reserve £3,600) and N1 CKS (reserve £3,900) were the two highest sellers, at £30,000 and £37,000 respectively.
