Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 17th of November 2001. The auction was held at the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre in Glasgow.
There were no real surprises or record-breaking sales, with the highest prices realised by 1 MNH (£10,000 - guide price £3,000), 1 PCN (£10,000 - guide price £2,600), and CRA 1C (£12,400 - guide price £2,300). The highest selling plate at the auction was RPS 3, which sold for £14,800 - far higher than its guide price of £2,600.
