Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 18th of September 2000. The auction was held at The Cutlers Hall in Sheffield.
Some plates to exceed their reserve prices included 26 DB which sold for £10,000 (reserve £4,000), 2 ULF which went for £14,500 (reserve £2,400) and S11 VER which ended at £17,000 (reserve £2,800).
WAL 5H smashed its estimate of £4,000 by selling for a total of £19,000, but this was surpassed by AVT 4R which sold for £30,000 after a reserve of £2,000 was applied to it.
