Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 18th of December 2001. The auction was held at Ragley Hall, near Warwick.
Many number plates smashed their expectations, with SIL AS exceeding its £1,900 guide price by selling for £14,100, S7 ORM going for £14,200 (guide price - £2,400), and 190 SL ending at £14,500 (guide price - £2,500).
Other top sellers at this auction included SAN 4M (£15,500 - guide price £2,200), 1 FO (£18,200 - guide price £5,500), OSM 4N (£19,500 - guide price £1,700) and MSK 1 (£26,000 - guide price £3,500).
