Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 23rd of June 2000. The auction was held at Chilford Hall in Cambridge.

The quality of this sale was rather poor in comparison, with most plates not even reaching their guide prices. Of the few that did, some of the plates to realise the highest values were 44 DB (£6,200 - guide price £3,800), 24 DC (£6,800 - guide price £3,600), 1 SCM (£9,000 - guide price £4,000) and 1 YH (£11,000 - guide price £4,700).

However, the highest price achieved for a number plate at this auction was £26,600 for S51 NGH which had a guide price of £3,600.
