DVLA Auction Brochure - 24th March 2000
Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 24th of March 2000. The auction was held at the Royal Naval College in Greenwich.
There were plenty of high value DVLA number plates on offer at this auction, including J4 KES which sold for £10,000 and 1 GHP at £10,600. 18 M and 1 BSK both sold at £11,000, whilst SOH 4L went for £14,000 and 2 OOM for £15,200.
Ferrari owners rejoiced when 360 RED went for £15,700, and W41 KER sold at £16,000. Beetle owners everywhere were clambering for the £17,800 BUG 1, and T1 MMY fetched £20,500.
£26,000 was realised for AKA 5H, and V1 NCE and W1 LLS sold for £33,000 and £34,000 respectively. V1 NNY went under the hammer at £25,000. Although V1 JAY sold for a massive £43,000, it was completely shadowed by 1 C which went for £56,000.
