Number Plate Auction - May 1998

DVLA Auction Brochure - 25th May 1998

Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 25th of May 1998. The auction was held at Silverstone during the BBC Top Gear Live Event.

Valued at £5,000 were 1 RFS and K33 NAN, whilst 1 BSP was valued at £5,300 and RAK 35H, 1 GHG, 1 BCB and CAR 50N were given estimates of £5,500. Slightly higher, at £5,600, was MOT 50N, with 1 FCM and FHB 1 being valued at £5,700. Meanwhile, 1 CBR and M4 NDY were both valued at £5,900.

1 PGA broke the £6,000 barrier, whilst M4 RKS and LAW 50N were valued at £6,200. However, the highest value DVLA number plate at this auction was J4 SON at £6,500.
