DVLA Auction Brochure - 26th March 1997
Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 26th of March 1997. The auction was held at The Town Hall in Oxford.
10 W and 8 XK reached £10,000 and had respective reserves of £4,600 and £2,900, whilst 1 TMS sold for £10,100 (reserve £4,000). £10,200 was achieved for each of 2 DM, 1 EAS, LEW 11S and 16 CB, which had respective reserves of £6,900, £4,000, £3,500 and £3,400.
8 MC and 1 AST had respective reserves of £4,600 and £4,300, and sold for £11,200 each. BOG 1E was estimated at £3,000 and sold for £21,500, but the two highest sellers were TEJ 1 and 1 SJC. They sold for £30,500 and £33,000 respectively, with £4,700 and £4,100 reserves.
