Cover for the brochure of the DVLA number plates auction dated the 28th of June 2005. The auction was held at Crewe Hall in Crewe, Cheshire.
Some number plates with high starting reserve prices were 44 00, 1 RWE and 1 TRP, each with a reserve of £3,200. Slightly dearer were 1 GVM, 1 LHG, 1 PWG and 1 RVG at £3,300.
Two number plates commanded a starting reserve of £3,400 - 1 SWW and VFP 1. However, the stars of the show were VEB 1 and WFB 1 - each with a reserve of £3,500.
