Car registration numbers tea cards
A set of tea cards issued by Lamberts of Norwich in 1960, displaying car registration numbers on the front of the card, alongside a local landmark pertaining to one of the counties of Great Britain. The rear of the cards gives information on the respective county, including the county town, estimated population of the county, local industries, soil type and chief towns. The cards also list the letters used in car registration numbers issued locally.
This is a marvellous collection of tea cards, showing an excellent range of 'dateless' car registration numbers; each one local to the town or county displayed on the card.
