Historic information about Number Plates
In this section we will be featuring documents and images which illustrate the history of UK vehicle registrations. We do already have a significant amount of material which we will be adding to the museum, but the more we have, the more comprehensive the overview will be.
We would be very grateful for any contributions of original documents or images, or indeed for good quality scans or reproductions of originals. Examples of items of interest are: tax discs from vehicles with interesting registration marks, auction and sale brochures, log books from vehicles with interesting registrations, V750 certificates of entitlement... basically anything that will help us to build the most complete historic resource on the subject of UK registrations and number plates.
