Numberplates

Numberplates - A growing fascination

NumberplatesThe public perception is often that you need to be a wealthy businessman or even a celebrity to own personalised number plates. In fact, there are literally millions of cheap numberplates available to buy.

With prices starting from as little as £49, there's no need to spend a fortune on expensive plates, when you can quite easily represent your initials or birthday on a set of inexpensive numberplates. There are plenty of cheap DVLA registrations and Irish number plates which are available for exceptionally low prices and can offer that something extra for your vehicle.

For example, your initials could be displayed on a set of numberplates from just £189. Birthdays and dates can also be conveyed on a set of number plates. For example, if you were born in September 1988 and your initials are GRT, you could purchase S88 GRT for just £189. This is without doubt a bargain for what could be your ultimate numberplate.

NumberplatesHowever, if you have a little more cash to splash, you could spend up to £350,000 on a numberplate such as JH 1, MS 1 or GL 1. In fact, there are lots of two-letter number-ones available through the search box in the top-left of this website. Why not search for your initials?

Don't forget - not all cherished number plates are immediately recognisable to somebody else. Displaying your birthday and initials may not be instantly obvious to anybody else, but you can rest safe in the knowledge that you have purchased a numberplate that conveys you perfectly. Incidentally, many people don't want their numberplates to be immediately recognisable as personalised number plates, as some people regard them as rather 'snobbish'. In this situation, a set of Irish plates or DVLA regs would be absolutely ideal.

Why not try out our search box? You're sure to find a set of numberplates that suit your name, initials, hobby or profession. Remember - you don't need to be a wealthy celebrity to own a set of numberplates!
