WAC 1 - This clever registration refers to 'Washing and Cleaning' and was owned by Mr Moody who owned a related company. This classic old photograph features the registration displayed on a Daimler-Jaguar.

AB 11 - Albert and Doris Burton of Lancashire can be seen here beside their pride and joy. The plate refers to Albert's initials and can be seen on his Rolls Royce. Doris has 'DB 25' displayed on her Sunbeam which obviously relates to her initials so the pair have both got matching registrations!

5 BOB - This classic registration had a habit of appearing on Jaguars in it's early life. The name plate can be seen here on Daimler Sovereign which is a change from its usual type. A classy vehicle displaying the ultimate plate for anyone named Bob. A finishing touch of class to a spectacular car!

AA 2 - A vintage registration can be seen here on a Chater Lea motorcycle. 'AA 1' and 'AA 2' were both the property of the Automobile Association who formed in 1905. A well known company with a historic set of plates. Pictured here is a push bike with what looks like an engine attached to it!

TRA 751T - What a number plate and what a van! This modified Transit van has been perfected with the number plate 'TRA 751T'! The plate can be seen a few times in our gallery, this particular photo has a slightly different font to the others. Thank you to ''Slippy'' who sent us this photo, who also owns H8 BYY!

DES 63V - Here we have a classic BMW bearing a six figure name plate. Des Brett sent us in his personalised number plate, 'DES 63V'. The plate could also relate in some way to the vehicle it is on which is a BMW 535I V8. Des would also like to express that this picture was taken in the sunny Isle of Wight!

A1 NOS - A fantastic Subaru picture here, originally alongside 'V555 MOG'. Racing cars can be modified to the extreme and personalised number plates just add that finishing touch. This particular plate could relate perhaps to the driver, or maybe the car or the type of racing that the driver takes part in, there's so many reasons!

DS05 TVR - A classic example of a car registration plate pictured here which was bought with vehicle in mind! Some people can't decide on what to have displayed on a personalised plate, their name or initials or work so an easy way out is to include your car, like this TVR has done!

TD04 RAT - There are a few 'Ratty' number plates in our gallery, this adds another to our collection! Displayed on a rather oversized pick up truck, the plate will bound to be noticed through people looking at the car. It is a well known fact that if people look at your car they are most likely to also look at your number plate!

RNG TOY - This international plate appears to read 'RNGTOY'. I have no idea what it represents but it looks rather snazzy on this BMW. These international plates, as can be seen here, do not have to feature numbers!
