XFU 1 - This plate is owned by Adrian Hayward Willis who also has the plates: 1 XFU, 11 XFU and 111 XFU. For this reason, the plate recently won 1st prize at the RNC Rally in the 'Collections' category. The plate can also be seen in the gallery when Adrian had it on a silver Vauxhall Corsa. We don't know why Adrian has these plates.
Mini   - PNA 11

PNA 11 - This plate recently won 3rd prize at the RNC Rally in the 'Number relevant to car or owner' category as the owner works for the Personalised Numbers Agency. The owner also has a couple of other plates. This plate can be seen on another car in the gallery and has apparently been on a large number of cars in its time.

Ford   - M19 HTU

M19 HTU - This fun plate reads Might U. It could be perceived to be asking a number of things but is just a bit of fun. This plate is a good example of how numbers can be used in the place of letters. For example 9 can be G, 1 can be I, etc. This makes it easier to spell out certain names and words and can help keep the cost down.
Rolls Royce   - ERO 54

ERO 54 - What a beautiful car, made to look even more special by its fantastic plate. It is easy to assume that ERO are the owner's initials. Both the car and plate are in excellent condition. The car was seen at the RNC Rally where there were a very large selection of personal plates on show, many of which can be seen in this gallery.

Jaguar   - 995 XUA

995 XUA - Although it is a little difficult to see, the plate on this Jaguar XK140 is 995 XUA. The relevance of the plate is not clear as XUA are such unusual initials. The car and plate still look great considering their age. Alan Goff sent in this photo after he saw the car at Woodly Show in April 2009. Thanks very much Alan.
Bike   - AB16 FLY

AB16 FLY - These two plates are really great. The plate on the bike reads A Big Fly and the one on the car, Jail. I believe the plate on the bike is simply for comical reasons or could relate to a business name in some way. On the car, JA could, of course, be the initials of the owner or they could maybe work in a jail.

Audi   - BEL 80Y

BEL 80Y - This photo was kindly sent in by Steve Frampton. The plate's relevance is unknown as we have no details of the owner. Bel Boy may relate in some way to a business name or something similar. Cherished plates are a great way to add something unique to your car and the possibilities of combinations are countless.
Mercedes   - SLAMG 55

SLAMG 55 - This registration comes from Estonia and is a lovely example of an international plate. The plate very clearly reads the word SLAM which could be relevant to a company name. It is interesting to note how the specifications abroad are different which means they can have different combinations of letters and numbers.

Bike   - PO 389

PO 389 - This 1929 Levis 6 Port 2 1/2 H.P. was spotted at Ardingly Show in Kent, March 2009. The relevance of the plate is unclear although the letters on it could be the owner's initials and the numbers could also be personal. Cherished plates are a fantastic, easy way to add some personalisation to any car and are a great investment.
Bike   - OO 738

OO 738 - This photo was sent in by Alan Goff after he saw the bikes at Whitewebbs Museum Show in April 2009. Alan suggested that the bike in the fore front could be James Bond's Ariel Leader as part of the plate reads 007. The plate and bike are in excellent condition considering their age and they really look great together.
