Number Plates From Jordan

Car registrations in Jordan look similar to those in the neighbouring Arab countries. They have both Arabic and English lettering on the plates, with ‘JORDAN’ being written on the left hand side. The current number plates are white, with black lettering and a black border. The previous series, which was around in the 1960’s had pale yellow number plates with ‘JORDAN’ being written in both English and Arabic across the middle. The first series which was released in the 1920’s was similar to the 1960’s version, apart from the fact that it was on black number plates with the characters in white.
