The current series of car registrations are on white number plates with black lettering and a black border. The format of the current series is L – NNNN – L, with L denoting a letter and N denoting a number. For those with temporary number plates, they have red lettering and a red border on a white plate. Diplomatic number plates are green while official number plates are red. Police vehicle number plates have the flag displayed on the left hand side and are black with silver lettering and a silver border.
