St. Kitts-Nevis are two islands located in the northern part of the leeward group of islands in the Caribbean Sea.

The format of car registrations in St Kitts and Nevis is pretty simple as there are only a few vehicles on this small island. The current series for private vehicles came into effect in 1969 and consists of black number plates with white lettering. The current series for taxis and public service vehicles came into effect in 1993 and consists of yellow number plates with black lettering. The previous series of plates for taxis were green with white lettering.
