Switzerland is a landlocked country in West Central Europe. It is bound by Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, France and Germany.
Different areas in Switzerland have their area flag displayed on the right of the number plate, while the national Swiss flag is displayed on the left side. The number plates themselves are white with black lettering. The format of the car registrations is LL NNNN with L being a letter and N being a number. The first two letters are the area identifier – for example BE is for Bern and ZH is for Zurich.
